The content published on this website (sigmaorthopedics.com), including but not limited to text, graphics, images, videos, and other materials, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to, and does not, constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of Dr. McCormick or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, surgical procedure, or treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your doctor, dial 911 immediately, or go to the nearest emergency room. Sigma Orthopedics does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned on this website.

Reliance on any information provided by Sigma Orthopedics, its employees, contracted medical professionals, or other visitors to this website is solely at your own risk.

2. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

Scheduling Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by contacting our office directly by phone at (332) 267-8918, by submitting the consultation request form on our website, or through our patient portal. Appointment requests submitted online are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation call or email from our scheduling team.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This courtesy allows us to offer your time slot to other patients who may be waiting for care.

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance: No charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: May be subject to a late-cancellation fee.
  • No-shows (failure to appear without notice): May be subject to a no-show fee and may affect future scheduling priority.
  • Surgical procedure cancellations: Must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees and facility charges.

Late Arrivals

We make every effort to see patients at their scheduled time. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled to avoid disruption to other patients' care.

Same-Week Access

Sigma Orthopedics is committed to offering same-week consultations for new patients whenever clinically feasible. Availability is subject to Dr. McCormick's surgical schedule and cannot be guaranteed. We will make every effort to accommodate urgent orthopedic needs in a timely manner.
